insulation tester is designed to perform insulation resistance tests with voltage up to 2500V, insulation resistance up to 100 GΩ and short circuit current up to 3mA. It can also automatically calculate the Dielectric Polarization Index (PI) and Dielectric Absorption Rate (DAR).
Insulation Testers can be additionally equipped with a DIN EN ISO Calibration Certificate in the laboratory.
For this purpose, the Insulation Resistance test includes an electronic oscillation generator that increases and regulates the battery voltage through a transformer. The measurement results are taken with a needle apparatus or digital tool. In our product selection, you can find the Insulation Tester available for almost any application.
How Is Insulation Resistance Test Performed?
Insulation is the reduction of energy flow from the environment to the outside or from the outside using any insulation (insulation) material.
With simple logic, insulation resistance measurement is done by applying DC voltage to the dielectric material. After measuring the current that the dielectric material passes, the resistance calculated over the applied voltage according to the ohm law is the insulation resistance.
