DEVICE INTRODUCTION VIDEO
Thermocouple Welding Machine; is designed for welding of K, J and T type thermocouple wire ends. Thermocouple or thermocouple is a kind of temperature sensor.
This device is suitable for point welding of fine-wire thermocouples(≤ Ф 1 mm). The supply cord must be plugged into an earthed socket-outlet to ensure the safety of the welder during use. The welding section is of Category III and has a safe low voltage power supply. For this reason, the graphite electrode and electrode holder can be contacted.
How to Use Thermocouple Welding Machine?
The welding machine is placed on the left side of the worktable. The electrode holder is separated from the graphite electrode on the table. Then a weight is applied on the cable of the graphite electrode to ensure that all the planes of the graphite electrode are straight or double-sided adhesive tape is adhered to the machine box.
The device is supplied with 220 V ± 10%, 50 – 60 Hz, 200 VA power supply and the operation switch is opened. Indicator lamp illuminate.
The position switch is set to I or II as required. It is recommended that the position switch is set to I when a 0.25 mm diameter termocouple wire is used. The position switch for the thermocouple wire with a large diameter is set to II. Energy storage continues until the indicator light goes out when the switch is lightly touched.
The cable stripper is used to strip the protective sleeve of the thermocouple wire(Approximately 20 mm); The insulation is then stripped from the end of the conductive wire by 5 mm. The conductive wire is removed in two parts. The metal part is fixed with a specially treated electrode holder.
The thermocouple wire and the electrode holder are held by hand, making the conductive wire on the electrode holder perpendicular to the graphite plane. The welding process is continued until the hand whisper sounds. Press the energy storage button to prepare for the next cycle of use. The welding point is checked; The welded area should be as small as possible. This area is usually twice the diameter of a thermocouple wire or slightly more; The knot is spherical, with no bubbles, pores or foreign substances; it must have a flat surface with metal brightness.
Warning: Do not weld when the energy storage indicator is on.
