This device can test and calibrate AC/DC high voltage, AC/DC current leakage, timing and distortion. The measurement of voltage and current adopts the digital meter with four and a half digits display. The input impedance in high-voltage measurement is not less than 200M Ω, and in current leakage measurement, there is load resistance available for option as current range. Timing measurement has auto and manual modes with five digits display at a resolution of 0.01s. In distortion measurement, there is output interface for option to connect the distortion tester to complete the distortion test, and distortion measurement results can be output to an external distortion meter. The calibrator adopts MCU with easy operation characterized by small size, light weight, portable carry with elegant outlook and high accuracy calibration, and which is certified to be used as a special purpose calibrator of withstanding voltage tester by provincial government measurement agency.

What is High Voltage Test?

High Voltage Testing is done as a way to check the effectiveness of the insulation of the device to ensure it will operate safely during rated electrical conditions.

Why is High Voltage Test Done?

It is a high voltage test during maintenance programs to demonstrate that equipment can withstand surge voltages during operation. An overvoltage is usually applied between the primary and secondary of the transformer or between the secondary and ground for 60 seconds.
