Apparatus for Verification of Maximum Withdrawal Force
Apparatus for Verification of Maximum Withdrawal Force meets the standard of IEC 60884-1 Clause 22, Figure 18 and Figure 19.
This tester is used to check whether the minimum force used to pull the single pin out of the socket-outlet with the maximum force applied to pull the plug out of the socket-outlet is within the allowed range in the standard.
Apparatus for Verification of Maximum Withdrawal Force
FEATURES
The socket-outlet can easily be fixed to the mounting plate. Mounting plate can be rotated from horizontal to vertical direction; The fixing arrangement can be turned towards the mounting plate. Thanks to these features, the device can be adjusted to meet the requirements of plugs and sockets in different configurations. Standard plugs and weights are available to test out the rated current up to 16 Amps. The contact pin and weights used to determine the minimum withdrawal force are separate from each other. The dimensions of the contact pin can be adjusted according to customer requirements. Test plugs are made of hardened steel and have a surface roughness value of less than 0.8 µm.
Technical Parameters
- The 10 A bipolar plug has 10 A and 16 A three-pole plug and 10 A and 16 A standard plug contact pins.
- The apparatus has a set of weights and fixing systems.
- The mounting plate can be turned from horizontal to vertical.
